Today after breakfast at The Willows (I will write more about the food there by and by) we took a couple of walks on the beach. The first walk was low (ish) tide and Doreen collected some rocks. Sorry about the fuzzy photo. It was rather cloudy and damp.
Then we went to the farm that the Willows owns called "Nettles Farm". They run their own bees:
And chickens. They have a chicken slaughtering class, but I think we will pass that up.
The also start their own greens:
When we came back, the tide was even lower. I think that this was about as low as it goes:
Then, wonderfully enough, we saw two Bald Eagles. Here is one of them:
We also saw a bunch of seals on a small island:
Doreen started talking back to them (they were very vocal) and they came off the island and started after us:
Luckily, we were able to make our escape.
